Things are Going Super Super Good!

Hey... well things are going super good here. The work is super good. We had 5 investigators in church and we will have 2 baptisms this Saturday! It’s been super cool to see the hand of the Lord in the work lately. Things are going super good and just keep getting better. We found some other super positive investigators this week too. So we are super happy. 

My suit came out nice. The picture is kind of blurry but it’s cool. I honestly can’t believe how fast time goes. The fact that Seth gets home tomorrow and in two months, me and Ty will be home is so crazy. 

It’s been pretty hot here but with nice cool breezes so I can’t complain. The members here are good and everything is going good. I’m excited to get home for General Conference. We could go up to a session! That would be so cool. 

But yeah I really don’t have much to tell. This week was just a good calm week of work. Today we are going to help the sisters here move to another house because where they live isn’t very safe. One of them is coming home on the same flight so you will probably meet her family there in the airport. She’s from Tucson. But yeah I love you guys so much and pray for you always!

Another Good Week!

Hola familia!!!  So... last week they sent me my flight info!! So crazy! April 2nd at 5pm I will see you all there ha-ha!! 

We brought this older man that can barely walk to church. It seemed like he was falling asleep the whole time, but at the end he said he really liked it:-)  We also found a decent amount of positive new investigators this week and 2 of them came to church. We had 5 investigators in total...so the work is going super good for us. 

Last week we had some house inspections in the mission and we spent like 2 hours deep cleaning our house as much as we could. I scrubbed our shower with bleach for like 30 minutes and it still looked the same ha-ha. But we passed with an almost perfect score and the mission president’s wife gave us cookies:-)

My companion is way awesome. It’s impossible to NOT get along with him because he is always so happy and smiling. So I really can’t complain! I just still can’t believe how fast time is going. When we work hard all week... time goes by sooooo fast and it feels like I'm writing you guys every other day. Everything is going really good. I love you all!  Thanks for all of the love and support!

Great Week!

So this week was really good!  Johnny and his mother came to church and they already have a baptism date for the 7th of February! We also had three other people come to church as well. My companion and I are working really good together and things are going very smooth for us. 

We had some really good lessons with some of the members and I’ve been using my ukele again to go sing hymns for the people and they love it so much. Everyone wants to get one and have me teach their children ha-ha. But yeah things are going way good. My companion is super cool and relaxed.

Changes!!!

Hey momma. Well I had changes! I’m super happy! My new area is called Los Pinos. The area is like a huge maze of passages and houses all stuck together. It's way cool and we don’t have to walk as much so I don’t get very dirty like in other areas.  I’m still in the same stake so it’s cool. I get to see all of the missionaries that were in my old zone. 

My new companion's name is Elder Rhead.  He’s from Utah. I’m so happy to be with a white kid!  ha-ha This change, there was a new Hermana that came from Mexico. Her name is Hermana Oy.  When she stood up to introduce herself and then said her name... everyone turned around to look at me... and we all had a good laugh. 

I also said good bye to Elder Martinez, my trainer, and took my last photo with him. He finished his mission. He was, and has been, my favorite companion of my entire mission. I really want to go to Mexico to visit him sometime! And I’m serious about coming back here in July or August! Maybe that could be my birthday present :) ...and you guys can come with me:) 

This week was really cool!  We had a really cool miracle happen. We were passing through this passage and this lady called out to us. She told us that the missionaries used to visit her and her son last year but that they had to move to Honduras.  She hadn't been able to come back until now and wanted us to start coming again to see her. They came to church with us on Sunday and are most likely going to get baptized at the end of the month.    

Things are going really good here. I’m super happy and the time is flying super fast. I love you all and hope y'all have a great week!!
